Shirley's Angel Foundation knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives.
Shirley's Angel Foundation (SAF) was established in loving memory of Shirley A. Singletary. Although she is gone, her legacy will live on in the lives of everyone she touched. She lived a full life and was always willing to help everyone around her so we thought it was befitting to continue that legacy of helping others.
Shirley's Angel Foundation will work to provide funding for Pancreatic Cancer research and create educational opportunities to ensure that more people are aware of this silent and often deadly disease. Shirley's battle with Pancreatic Cancer was both unexpected & short. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer in June 2010 and succumbed to the disease in August 2010. We have lost a jewel but we know that she is looking down on us and smiling.

Our mission is to fund research that leads to innovative treatments and earlier detection of Pancreatic Cancer, with an emphasis on increasing awareness to help families make educated decisions about their health.
